Tom Welle is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and Licensed Addiction Counselor working as a Behavioral Health Provider at Northwest Colorado Health. He studied at the University of Minnesota and received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He received his Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Tom has served in a variety of roles in the behavioral health field in Northwest Colorado. He has counseled people with mental health and substance use disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Tom utilizes a variety of theoretical bases to help his clients meet their individualized needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing are all evidenced based modalities that Tom incorporates into his professional practice. The quality of the therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to Tom and he aims to collaborate with every client on creating and reaching their treatment goals.”
