Support Groups
We offer ongoing support groups that are open to the community. Meetings focus on understanding death and honoring connection with a deceased loved one while making a healthy transition into life without that person. Participants share and explore their grief in a comfortable, supportive setting among others coping with similar losses.

Counseling & Group Education
Our Bereavement and Spiritual Care Coordinators also are available to meet with individuals who need guidance in determining the best grief support options. Our coordinators can connect individuals to community resources and, if needed, mental health professionals to meet their unique support needs.
We also are available to do presentations to law enforcement, emergency responders and other organizations about coping with loss and supporting co-workers through the grief process. These presentations can be helpful for groups that have recently experienced trauma or loss or want to have coping tools available if such an event should occur. For more information on these services, call Taylor Payne, Bereavement Care Coordinator at 970-846-8319.
Youth Resiliency Programs
We provide outreach services, support groups and education to youth who are grieving a loss related to life’s adversities such as divorce, family addiction, violence, death, health issue and relocation. These programs are offered to kindergarten through college-age youth in Routt and Moffat counties. Learn more.
