Governor Polis of Colorado announced an updated plan for COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution. Starting February 8, individuals over 65, teachers (Pre-K-12 grade), and childcare workers will be immunized in addition to the 1A and 1B categories, with focus still on those 70+. Teachers and childcare workers should work directly with their employer for vaccination - please do not add your name to our waitlist unless you are an adult over 65. Fill out our online interest form or call 970-871-7620 to be added to our waitlist. Please note that our supply is still very limited

January 21, 2021

We now have an online interest form to request an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine if you are 70 or older. You may also call 970-871-7620 to be added to the waitlist. We are continuing to follow the state's Vaccine Distribution Plan, which is currently providing the vaccine to adults 70 and older, and essential healthcare workers. Please only add your name to the waitlist if you qualify in one of these categories. Per state guidance, we are only allowed to provide vaccines to those above the dotted line in the 1B Phase listed below. Please visit our COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing page to learn more.

Phase 1A (Winter): Highest-risk health care workers and individuals:
•    People who have direct contact with COVID-19 patients for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.
•    Long-term care facility staff and residents.

Phase 1B (Winter): Moderate-risk health care workers and first responders, frontline essential workers, and continuity of state government:
•    Health care workers with less direct contact with COVID-19 patients (home health hospice, pharmacy, dental, etc,) and EMS.
•    Firefighters, police, COVID-19 response personnel, correctional workers, and funeral services.
•    People age 70 and older.
……………………………………………………………………………………………..
These populations will be vaccinated when there is supply and the state tells counties to start:

•    Frontline essential workers in education, food and agriculture, manufacturing, US Postal Service, public transit and specialized transportation staff, grocery, public health, frontline essential human service workers, and direct providers for Coloradans experiencing homelessness.
•    Essential officials from executive, legislative, and judicial branches of state government.
•    Essential frontline journalists.

We look forward to being able to support the new COVID-19 distribution plan that was announced yesterday. Please reference the Vaccine Distribution Plan provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to learn more about the phases of how and when the vaccine will be available to different members of the community.

Once we do have the vaccine available, we will continue to follow State and Local Public Health, and Centers for Disease Control guidance on distribution of the vaccine. We will share more information with the public as we know more.

We know that there are many questions about the vaccine. We encourage you to look at these resources to make sure you are getting the most accurate information available:

As health care workers, we know how important this vaccine is to getting Colorado back to work, and we are highly encouraging all of our staff to receive the vaccine when it is available. For now, we must all continue to do our part – wear a mask, social distance six feet apart, stay home if you are sick, get tested if you have symptoms, wash your hands frequently, and avoid personal gatherings.
