Hannah Kaufmann
Hannah was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and earned her Bachelor of Art Education degree from the University of Kansas. She began her career working with a domestic violence agency in Kansas, facilitating art support groups at a local shelter. It was here that she discovered her passion for social work and supporting individuals navigating difficult circumstances. Always drawn to the mountains, Hannah's dream of calling Colorado home became a reality after visiting Steamboat Springs on her honeymoon. She applied for a position with Advocates of Routt County, where she now works as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. In her role, Hannah frequently refers clients to Northwest Colorado Health for a wide range of services. As a patient herself, she speaks highly of the agency, noting that she feels confident in her referrals because of the agency's genuine commitment to wellness for all. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors, and camping with her husband and two rescue dogs. She also finds joy in creating art as a form of self-care.
