Erin Wilson, Secretary

Erin jumped at the opportunity to become a board member for Northwest Colorado Health in November 2020. Through her work as a court-appointed attorney/public defender, she spent 15 years representing and advocating within the legal system for some of our community’s most marginalized populations, witnessing the struggles of her clients, including obtaining healthcare. Now as the County Court Judge for Routt County she has an even broader glimpse into the needs of our community. She became a volunteer board member to help ensure that high quality healthcare is available to all members of our community. Erin received her undergraduate degree from University of Southern California in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations, and later received a Chancellor’s Scholarship to attend law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She moved to Steamboat Springs in 2013, and she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, their dog and her extended family. According to Erin, she has come to appreciate the broad array of services Northwest Colorado Health’s integrated model provides and has learned a great deal about the amazing effort and teamwork it takes to run a successful, quality of care-focused healthcare organization.
