David Park, Treasurer
David grew up in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee and began his career working with his father’s construction firm building Nursing Homes, Hospitals and Medical Office Buildings. After ten years he had the chance to work for Hospital Corporation of American in Florida which led to a 31-year career navigating design and implementation of several multi-million-dollar projects. During that time, his interactions with the patients and families that they served were the most touching and unforgettable. This is what inspired him to join the board of Northwest Colorado Health. He and his wife also have a small ranch where they raise Scottish Highland Cattle, and they are also both Mountain Ambassadors at the Steamboat Ski Mountain to share their love of the Yampa Valley with our winter visitors. As a board member he has learned that while there is a focus on the long-term strategy and goals of the organization, there is never a blind spot to the immediate impact that can be had for the benefit of the clients.
