Enterprise Zone Tax Credit
Your donation may qualify for a Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit!
Northwest Colorado Health was approved by the State of Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project (effective September 17, 2026) which encourages community participation and public-private partnerships.
Colorado taxpayers who make an eligible, certified contribution greater than $250 may receive a Colorado state income tax credit:
Contribution Type | Colorado Tax Credit |
Cash Contribution | 25% of eligible contribution |
In-Kind Contribution (including gifts of appreciated assets, such as stocks) | 12.5% of eligible contribution |
Example: An eligible $10,000 cash contribution could generate a $2,500 CO income tax credit. The credit is limited to $100,000 per taxpayer per tax year.
Note-Donations received from a Donor Advised Fund are not eligible for EZ Tax Credit.
The Colorado Enterprise Zone tax credit reduces the amount of state income tax you pay, in addition to federal and state charitable deductions you may receive for gifts to Northwest Colorado Health. You can nearly double the size of your gift – and the impact of your generosity – without increasing the net cost to you.
