Human Resources Generalist (Steamboat Springs)
Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with the passion and skills to assist with the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering benefits, leave, and performance improvement process, and enforcing company policies and practices for Northwest Colorado Health. We have been providing primary healthcare to residents since 2008. Today, you will join a healthcare organization and a staff of 11 providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to more than 5,500 patients. We have high expectations for you as a Human Resources Generalist. We need you to:
- Support recruiting process for Agency positions
- Support discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Support department and program managers with standard employment and benefit issues.
- Coordinates new hire onboarding and orientation processes including management benefit enrollment and termination with HR Team.
- Supports the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Cost reporting for Casey’s Pond.
- Pay for Performance Annual Submission.

We offer a salary that meets market values for the Colorado area and is based on experience. The salary range for this full time, 40 hour a week position based in Routt County at Casey’s Pond and will support Routt and Moffat Counties is $27.96-$36.04 and is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Paid Time Off and our 403(b) Retirement Plan.
