Peggy Sammons, LPC - Behavioral Health Provider

Peggy Sammons, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor with more than 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field. She provides individualized, patient-centered counseling and is passionate about supporting people in a one-on-one therapeutic environment.

Education and Professional Background

Peggy earned her Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College in Colorado Springs and her Master of Arts in Psychology from Regis University in Denver.

Her professional experience includes work in:

  • Residential and inpatient behavioral healthcare
  • Outpatient mental healthcare
  • Behavioral health research
  • Program administration
  • Individual counseling

Counseling Approach

Peggy uses an individualized, culturally sensitive approach to counseling. Rather than applying the same method to every person, she draws from different evidence-based therapeutic techniques according to each patient’s needs, experiences and treatment goals.
