Mikaelyn CL Sullivan, MSN, FNP-C - Nurse Practitioner

Mikaelyn C.L. Sullivan, MSN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner with more than 11 years of healthcare experience as an acute care nurse and nurse practitioner. She is committed to providing accessible, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families in Northwest Colorado’s rural communities.

Education and Clinical Training

Mikaelyn completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Northern Colorado. During graduate school, she completed two clinical rotations at Northwest Colorado Health. Those experiences inspired her to continue serving patients and families in the region’s rural communities.

Approach to Patient Care

Mikaelyn values patient-centered care and believes patients should feel heard, informed and involved in decisions about their health. Her experience in both acute care and family practice helps her support patients with a variety of immediate and ongoing healthcare needs.

As part of Northwest Colorado Health’s integrated care team, Mikaelyn helps patients and families access comprehensive primary care services, preventive care and support for ongoing health concerns.

Nursing Education

Mikaelyn is also passionate about educating future nurses. She serves as a faculty member in the nursing program at Colorado Mountain College, where she teaches classroom courses and shares her commitment to patient-centered care with students in clinical settings at local healthcare facilities.

Life in Routt County

Originally from Michigan, Mikaelyn has lived in Colorado for more than a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Routt County by hiking, mountain biking, rafting and snowboarding. She and her husband, Bryan, also enjoy spending time with their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Mishka.
