Kevin Sullivan, DDS - Dentist
Kevin Sullivan, DDS, is a dentist at Northwest Colorado Health who is committed to providing an informative, respectful and patient-centered dental experience. He takes time to help patients understand their treatment options, including the potential benefits and risks, so they can make informed decisions about their oral health.
Education and Dental Training
Dr. Sullivan grew up in Byfield, Massachusetts, where he developed an appreciation for small, closely connected communities. His interest in dentistry began at an early age, inspired in part by his mother, a dental hygienist, and his grandfather, who served as a prosthodontist in the United States Air Force.
After attending Governor Dummer Academy, Dr. Sullivan enrolled at the University of Denver. He majored in biology and completed minors in chemistry and philosophy.
His experience in Colorado inspired him to remain in the state for his professional education. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Approach to Dental Care
Dr. Sullivan believes that patients should be active participants in decisions about their dental health. He explains available treatment options in understandable terms and gives patients the time they need to ask questions and consider the benefits and risks of each option.
His philosophy can be summarized by a phrase he frequently shares with patients: “It’s your mouth, it’s your rules.”
