Joanna "Jo" Farrell, FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner

Joanna "Jo" Farrell, FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner

Born and raised in Colorado, and having lived in Steamboat Springs since 2021, I am honored to serve my community as a Family Nurse Practitioner. With more than a decade of healthcare experience, I bring a diverse background spanning critical care, family practice and even ski patrol. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based care for all people.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming, with minors in Outdoor Leadership and Nutrition, and later went on to earn my Doctor of Nursing Practice, also from the University of Wyoming. My diverse clinical experiences and healthcare background have shaped my approach to caring for the whole person, and building trusting relationships with patients and families.

Outside of work, I love taking advantage of everything the Yampa Valley has to offer. You can usually find me skiing, running, biking, or exploring the beautiful Colorado mountains. I feel incredibly fortunate to live and work alongside both the Steamboat and Craig communities, and I look forward to giving back to the place I am proud to call home.

1 in 3 people in the Yampa Valley utilize our services.

We serve all people, regardless of ability to pay.
