Ashley Mines, PA - Physician Assistant

Ashley Mines has been a physician assistant (PA) since 2008 working in various fields including dermatology, geriatrics, post-acute hospital recovery, and rural primary care. She graduated summa cum laude from Colorado Mesa University with a bachelors in biology in 2005 and received her master of medical science in physician assistant studies from Midwestern University in 2008. In December 2023, she will graduate with a doctor of medical science in leadership with aspirations to promote the PA profession. Ashley is a decorated PA awarded with the prestigious Distinguished Fellow awarded from the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Her article “Six Tips for Successful Grant Writing” will be published in the Journal of the AAPA in December 2023. She advocates for her patients and is passionate about promoting health and wellness. Ashley enjoys collaborating with her patients to create a treatment plan that works for them individually. She loves a complex challenge. 

She was raised in Littleton, Colorado and moved to Craig to get away from the busy city. She is happily married with two children and three dogs. When she is not at work, she enjoys oil painting, reading, cooking, hiking, and learning to ski.
