Healthy Lifestyle Class Steamboat
This free program is for individuals who have prediabetes or are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes, including those who have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and are overweight. Participants will work with a lifestyle coach in a group environment. It occurs weekly for 6 weeks and then every other week for 6 weeks. They will learn how to make realistic, achievable goals around nutrition, exercise and stress management to prevent or delay diabetes and complications. This is a Lifestyle Change Program approved by the Centers of Disease and Prevention.
