Healthy Lifestyle Class Steamboat
This free program is for individuals who are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes,, including those who have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and are overweight. They will learn how to make realistic, achievable goals around nutrition, exercise and stress management to prevent diabetes and other health problems. Participants will work with a lifestyle coach in a group environment.
This is a 12-week class. Drop ins welcome. The class will occur weekly through March 8. Class days/times after March 8 may change depending on participants' preferences. If you cannot commit to the class, but would like to receive a free cardiovascular and diabetes screening, call 970-871-7618.
