Residency Specialist (Steamboat Springs - Casey's Pond)
General Statement of Duties:
This position plays a key role in guiding prospective residents and their families through the move-in process for both Assisted Living and Independent Living. This position is responsible for managing inquiries, providing personalized tours, assisting with applications and assessments, and supporting a smooth transition into the community.
Supervision Received: Reports to the Senior Director of Casey’s Pond.
Supervision Exercised: None.
Essential Functions:
• Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person inquiries from prospective residents and families.
• Conduct engaging community tours and highlight features tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track leads, and follow up consistently to move prospects through the pipeline.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure readiness for new move-ins for Independent and Assisted Living.
• Coordinate pre-move-in evaluations, physician orders, and service agreements for Assisted Living residents.
• Serve as a liaison between prospective residents, family members, referral sources, and internal teams
• Participate in internal/external outreach events, community engagement efforts, and relationship building in collaboration with Northwest Colorado Health Outreach and Marketing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies regarding admissions and residency.
• Assist in efforts that support occupancy goals for both Independent and Assisted Living in collaboration with Northwest Colorado Health Marketing staff.

Education and Licensure:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related customer service field.
• Property management or leasing experience strongly desired.
Requirements:
1. If car is used, must provide proof of adequate insurance coverage totaling at least
$100,000 and valid Colorado driver’s license.
2. Current immunization history, after job offer and before starting job.
3. TB screening upon hire.
4. May require lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
5. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
1. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
2. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to handle sensitive and emotional conversations with empathy and professionalism
4. Ability to move throughout the community and lead tours
5. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Aline desirable.
6. Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
7. Must be compassionate, organized, and motivated to help seniors find the right living solution.
Equipment:
1. Daily use of telephone, copier, and other office equipment.
Working Conditions:
1. Position is in a well-lighted, accessible office environment, and involves sitting approximately 90% of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
2. This position has been classified as Patient-Facing, a position in which the incumbent could reasonably be expected to routinely interact with patients and/or patient family members. Employees in Patient-Facing positions are exposed to healthcare conditions that may require additional training, immunizations, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
