Dentist (PRN - Craig & Steamboat Springs)

Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a Dentist with the passion and skills to deliver high quality healthcare. We have been providing primary healthcare to residents since 2008. Today, you will join a healthcare organization and a staff of 11 providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to more than 5,500 patients. You will be welcomed into our diverse and caring environment to serve the community in which we live.

We have high expectations for you as a Dentist. We need you to:

  • Provide comprehensive coordinated and team-based care preventive dental services to ethnically diverse patient populations across the lifespan. Is responsible for scheduling and collecting financial data and fee collection for clients and patients accessing services at the clinic.
  • Record patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patient’s dental record so that the dental record accurately and completely reflects the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided.
  • Provide clinical supervision for Dental Assistants and other health professionals requiring formal and informal dental oversight according to the Colorado Dental Board Rules and Regulations.
  • Assist in the provision of technical assistance and health education to the community as requested.

We offer a salary that meets market values for the Colorado area and is based on experience. The salary range for this PRN or “as needed” position located in Moffat and Routt Counties is $70.02-$103.99 and is eligible for our 403(b) Retirement Plan. View a complete job description.
