Dental Treatment Coordinator (Craig)

Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a Dental Treatment Coordinator with the passion and skills to serve as an advocate and educator to the patient as it relates to their treatment plan for dental care. We have been providing primary healthcare to residents since 2008. Today, you will join a healthcare organization and a staff of eleven providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to more than 5,500 patients. You will be welcomed into our caring environment to serve the community in which we live.

We have high expectations for you as a Dental Treatment Coordinator. We need you to:

  • Conduct in-person and virtual or telephone consultation/interview to understand the patient’s oral health history, concerns, and objectives.
  • Explain the treatment plan, address patient concerns and answer any questions.
  • Assist the patient in prioritizing the treatment and establish a plan for scheduling and payment.
  • Coordinate communication between outside referrals including returned referral letter, update tooth chart and scan into patient documents.
  • Build trust and understand the patient’s objectives.
  • Conduct financial consultations with all new patients and with existing patients when new treatment is presented.
  • Manage and maintain the payment options and policies for patients to uphold the practice’s financial integrity.

We offer a salary that meets market values for the Colorado area and is based on experience. The salary range for this full-time, 40 hours a week position located in Moffat County $18.36-$27.25  and is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Paid Time Off and our 403(b) Retirement Plan.
