Snow + Yoga = Snowga

Join us in the backyard of Rollingstone Respite House for Snowga! This donation-based class will benefit Northwest Colorado Health's Hospice program and The Solstice Collective. Space is limited, please RSVP to Kyleigh Lawler at klawler@northwestcoloradohealth.org or 970-871-7609.

All abilities welcome for this practice of pranayama (breathwork) and asana (physical poses). Please wear comfortable shoes and remember to dress according to our ever-changing weather. Please bring a mat/towel/blanket, and water or a warm drink.

Snowga is a great way to keep our bodies moving to warm up our muscles and joints while getting an extra dose of vitamin D. The class will begin with varying breathing techniques followed by gentle, flowing movements building heat in our bodies. This will be a safe and fun class taught in an organic environment that will be accessible for everyone whether it is your desire to move stagnant energy, achieve some relief from grief, depression, or anxiety, or for those with a desire to build muscle, make a snow angel, or simply catch a snowflake on their tongue. Local yoga instructor, Nicole Longo, will share tools to empower others with the importance of taking the time to nourish your mind, body, soul, and spirit in order to achieve optimum health, well-being, and peace.
