Rubber Ducky Race

Kids and kids at heart will love this event. This year’s event will benefit Hospice and Palliative Care for Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association. The Race in Craig will start at the Ranney St. bridge and end at Loudy Simpson Park. The race in Steamboat Springs will start at the 5th Street bridge and end at Elk Park.

- Ticket sales for this year’s race will be available at online and at various locations throughout the summer
- Thousands of ducks will hit the river at 11 am in September dumped over the bridge with the help of the local Fire Department
- Join the delighted spectators as they watch the ducks float down reaching the finish line
- If your duck crosses the finish line first, you have a chance to win $10,000
- 1,000 ducks will be released in Craig with the first 10 ducks being awarded prizes totaling $1000
- 3,000 ducks will be released in Steamboat Springs with the first 20 ducks being awarded prizes totaling $5000
- Child-friendly activities and entertainment will take place at the finish line with prize winners announced at 11:30 am
- Voting will also take place for the Corporate Ducky Beauty Pageant
- Food and drink will be available for purchase
