Medical Records Technician (Steamboat Springs)
Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a Medical Records Technician with the passion and skills to deliver high accuracy and validity of medical records for the Community Health Center. We have been providing primary healthcare to residents since 2008. Today, you will join a healthcare organization and a staff of 11 providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to more than 5,500 patients. We have high expectations for you as a Medical Records Technician. We need you to:
- Conduct job duties with regard to ethical and legal standards of medical records practice as well as assists with administrative functions of the CHC.
- Works in close cooperation with the clinical team to assure that incoming medical records are filed appropriately and are easily accessible for the clinical team.
- Is responsible for the quality and content of a client’s electronic medical record, from admission to discharge including referral information.
- Is responsible for the process of releasing Protected Health Information (PHI) from and to an Agency, assuring that HIPAA rules and regulations are adhered to.

We offer a salary that meets market values for the Colorado area and is based on experience. We have a part-time 24 hour a week position located in Routt County The salary range for this position is $16.59-$23.87; the part-time position is eligible for Paid Time Off and our 403(b) Retirement Plan.
