Human Resources Manager (Craig)
Northwest Colorado Health is seeking a Human Resources Manager with the passion and skills to lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering benefits, leave, and performance improvement process, and enforcing company policies and practices for Northwest Colorado Health. We have been providing primary healthcare to residents since 2008. Today, you will join a healthcare organization and a staff of 11 providers at four locations, delivering primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to more than 5,500 patients. We have high expectations for you as a Human Resources Manager. We need you to:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR Specialist, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

We offer a salary that meets market values for the Colorado area and is based on experience. The salary range for this full time, 40 hour a week position based in Moffat County is $56,076.80-$82,409.60 and is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, Paid Time Off and our 403(b) Retirement Plan.
