John Nash, LCSW
John Nash is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned a bachelors degree in psychology from Worcester State University. He continued his education and was awarded a masters degree from the State University of New York. His early years in human services were spent sharing his creative energy with children who were emotionally challenged in multiple clinical settings. John has extensive experience working in a clinical setting specializing in serving individuals and families coping with chronic life-threatening illness as a member of an integrated health care team focusing on the mental health needs of individuals of all ages. He also worked as a Clinical Instructor of Pediatric at Albany Medical College and lectured medical students and residents on a variety of topics. In addition, his interest include research, ethics, quality improvement, smoking cessation, leadership, team dynamics and person-centered care. He is a nationally recognized speaker and has worked as a speaker and advisory board member for pharmaceutical companies. He enjoys engaging in outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
