Andrea Marcolla, LCSW, MSW - Behavioral Health Provider

Andrea Marcolla is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and certificates in Global and Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. She pursued her graduate degree at Marywood University, earning a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). Andrea has experience providing outpatient therapy, crisis management and integrated behavioral health services to children, adults and families.
Andrea utilizes a range of solution focused and trauma informed interventions to help patients improve their well-being. Using an empowerment based systems approach, Andrea helps patients learn ways to safely manage stressors within one’s environment. In an effort to help patients build knowledge and enhance their coping skill repertoire, she provides routine psychoeducation and interactive feedback during sessions. Understanding that all patients and circumstances are different, Andrea tailors interventions to her patients’ needs and encourages open communication within the therapeutic relationship so that she can serve patients to the best of her ability.
